Renowned gospel musician and Ghanaian celebrity Sonnie Badu recently shared one of his heartfelt wishes for the Ghanaian music scene. In an interview with Fiifi Prat on Kingdom FM, Sonnie opened up about a vision that would bring three of Ghana’s biggest music stars together on a single stage—a feat many would consider impossible.
Though known for his work in gospel music, Sonnie expressed his admiration for some of Ghana’s leading "circular" (secular) musicians. Given the chance, he said, he would love to create an event featuring Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Black Sherif, three artists he deeply respects. Despite their public rivalries, Sonnie sees immense potential in uniting them for a performance that could transcend their differences and foster peace within the industry.
For Sonnie Badu, this dream isn’t just about the music; it’s about setting an example of unity in a divided world. With each artist bringing unique energy, style, and a massive fanbase, such an event could be a defining moment for Ghanaian music and a step toward harmony within the community.
