The rivalry between dancehall icon Shatta Wale and rising Ghanaian star Black Sherif shows no signs of cooling off, with Shatta Wale once again taking aim at the younger artist.
Speaking in an interview with Ike De Unpredictable on Kumasi-based Angel FM, Shatta Wale reignited the feud, accusing Black Sherif of disrespect and lacking fashion credibility.
Shatta Wale addressed claims that Black Sherif had mocked his fashion, particularly the widely discussed "fake boxer shorts" stunt, which Shatta clarified was a promotional strategy for his upcoming music. He dismissed the criticism, calling it baseless and accusing Black Sherif of having little understanding of style.
“If anyone has the right to critique my fashion sense, it’s definitely not Black Sherif,” Shatta said. He added that it would take Black Sherif at least a decade to afford the high-end diamonds he wears with ease.
This statement has fueled ongoing debates on social media, with fans and critics weighing in on the feud, the significance of artistry over materialism, and the role of style in the music industry.
Where do you stand in this clash of egos? Is Shatta Wale right, or is this just another publicity stunt? Share your opinion in the comments!
