In a recent interview, renowned Ghanaian fashion icon Osebo Zaraman didn’t hold back when discussing his views on controversial Ghanaian pastor, Angel Obinim. Osebo openly criticized Obinim’s authenticity as a man of God, firmly stating that he believes Obinim is nothing more than a “fake” pastor.
Osebo confidently claimed that if given the chance, he would confront Obinim in person, look him in the eyes, and tell him exactly how he feels. According to Osebo, Obinim's actions and self-proclaimed titles, such as calling himself an "angel," suggest behavior that goes against what Osebo sees as genuine faith. He argued that the self-promotional actions of Obinim and others like him only reinforce the notion that some pastors are misleading their followers rather than guiding them spiritually.
Moreover, Osebo extended his criticism to others who use similar titles and credentials from Bible schools to validate their status as pastors, suggesting that formal education doesn’t inherently make someone a true spiritual leader. His remarks echo a growing sentiment among some Ghanaians who question the motives and authenticity of certain religious figures.
