Inspector-General of Police (IGP) George Akuffo Dampare has issued a stern warning to individuals planning to disrupt the peace during the December 7 elections. Speaking at a public forum, he made it clear that anyone found causing unrest will face the full force of the law, with no room for escape or impunity.
The IGP assured the public that security forces are well-prepared to maintain peace and order throughout the electoral process. He encouraged citizens to go about their civic duties without fear, reiterating that the police will deal decisively with any attempts to destabilize the election.
This strong stance from the police leadership reinforces the commitment to ensuring a safe and peaceful environment for every Ghanaian to exercise their right to vote.
