Popular Ghanaian actor, Kalybos, recently opened up about why some men choose to leave their long-term partners for new relationships, even after years together. His comments, made during a candid conversation on a podcast spotted by GH Page, shed light on his decision to end things with his former girlfriend, Afrakomaa, despite their longstanding relationship.
When asked about the reasons behind his breakup, Kalybos explained that although he and Afrakomaa were in a committed relationship, she ultimately wasn’t the type of person he envisioned marrying. He emphasized that, in his view, time spent together does not automatically mean that marriage should follow.
Reflecting on his own experience, Kalybos stated, "Being in a relationship for a longer period doesn’t mean you have to settle with the person no matter what." His perspective underscores a growing belief that personal compatibility and long-term relationship goals may sometimes outweigh the duration of a relationship.
Kalybos’s comments offer a thought-provoking perspective on relationships, sparking conversation about whether couples should prioritize compatibility over the length of time they've been together when considering marriage.
