Controversial Ghanaian preacher and self-proclaimed spokesperson for pastors, Prophet Kumchacha, has stirred up a heated debate with his recent comments on live radio. Speaking with Okatakyie Afrifa on Angel FM, Kumchacha stated that he would prefer watching an adult film over a Ghana Black Stars football match.
The outspoken preacher justified his stance by claiming that the Black Stars’ frequent losses are too stressful for him to endure. “Watching their matches can give you high blood pressure,” he remarked, expressing his frustration with the national team’s performance.
Kumchacha emphasized that, due to the team’s consistent disappointments, he sees no value in dedicating his time to their games. Instead, he jokingly suggested that he’d rather engage in an entirely different form of entertainment.
The unexpected comment left Afrifa and the other panelists in disbelief, thinking it was a joke. However, Kumchacha doubled down, insisting that he was serious about his statement.
This bold declaration has since gone viral, sparking diverse reactions from football fans and the general public. Some expressed anger over his disregard for the national team, while others laughed it off as typical Kumchacha humor.
What’s your take on this? Is Kumchacha’s critique of the Black Stars justified, or did he go too far with his comparison? Share your thoughts below!
