Controversial preacher Evangelist Mama Pat, widely recognized as Nana Agradaa, has sparked conversations once again, this time with a bold declaration about her identity in ministry. The leader of Heaven Way Church has firmly stated that she should not be referred to as a prophetess but as a prophet.
Speaking on GhPage’s Afternoon Show Rash Hour, Nana Agradaa explained that while many see her as a woman, her spiritual identity is that of a man. She emphasized that her role in the spiritual realm defines her as a prophet and not a prophetess, urging the public to respect her preference.
Her remarks come shortly after she prophesied the outcome of the upcoming 2024 elections in a now-viral video. Although Nana Agradaa is a known supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), she claimed that God revealed to her that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, would emerge victorious.
She elaborated on the prophecy, stating that the divine message instructed Dr. Bawumia to remain calm and trust in God’s will during the election period. Despite her NDC roots and past loyalty to former President John Mahama, Nana Agradaa said she had no choice but to share God’s revelation, even if it displeased her political base.
Her statements have garnered mixed reactions on social media, with some applauding her boldness and others questioning her claims. Nana Agradaa, however, remains unfazed, urging critics to focus on the spiritual implications of her message rather than her political affiliations.
