In a surprise move, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the Presidential candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change, has named Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso, a former musician and lawyer, as his running mate for the December elections.
Danso, also known as E-Nice, was a member of the defunct music group Echo, which won the 2008 Nescafe African Revelation competition in Ghana.
The choice has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some questioning Danso's lack of active involvement in politics compared to other potential candidates like Dr. Abu Sakara.
