US-based Ghanaian gospel musician turned-preacher, Sonnie Badu, has made a shocking revelation about the devastating accident he suffered in December. In an emotional interview on Onua Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown, Sonnie Badu shared the heart-wrenching details of the incident that left him with a life-changing injury.
Contrary to speculation that his use of crutches ahead of his Ghana concert was a publicity stunt, Sonnie Badu revealed that he had indeed suffered a gruesome accident. While cleaning, he slipped on the staircase and fell, with his leg getting caught in a metal rail. The incident resulted in the loss of his toes.
"I went through depression for six months, I'm left with only three toes," Sonnie Badu confessed. "I was bleeding everywhere... My team members picked up my toes from the floor, put them in an iced box, and brought them to the hospital, but the doctors refused to reattach them."
