Freedom Jacob Caesar, aka Cheddar, has ignited fury among his own supporters with his contentious remarks on Ghana's anti-galamsey protests. The real estate mogul and New Force Movement leader criticized the #FreetheCitizens campaign, which advocates for the release of arrested protestors.
In a video address, Cheddar dismissed the protestors' cause, claiming they serve political interests, not Ghanaians. His followers, particularly the younger generation, are outraged, feeling Cheddar's comments undermine their fight against illegal mining's environmental and economic damage.
