A devastating accident has shaken the community of Dabaa in Ghana's Ashanti Region, leaving five innocent lives lost. A black Toyota Vitz veered off the road and plunged into the Owabe River, claiming the lives of a mother, her two children, their maid, and two additional passengers.
Eyewitnesses report that the driver, a professional dressmaker, was en route to drop her children at school and head to work. She had kindly offered rides to two passengers. Tragedy struck when a heavy truck startled her, causing the car to careen off the bridge and into the river.
Despite swift response from residents, unfortunately, all five occupants succumbed to the accident.
